Tertiary football league kicks off September this year

The much anticipated tertiary football league (TFL) will finally kick start on Saturday 16th September 2017. The competition which will be live in a span of 10 weeks (September –November) has been targeted to provide direct platform for players at the Universities, technical Universities and Colleges. Here, schools across the various tertiary divide will rub shoulders with each other of which the eventual winner will be honoured.

The Participating codes are members of Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA), Ghana Technical Universities Sports Association, Private Universities Students’ Association of Ghana (PUSAG), Teacher Training Colleges and Nursing Training Schools (both public and private).

Twelve schools will be participating in this year’s competition and the various schools have been divided into two zones, thus Northern and Southern zones. Teams from the Northern zones will stage its competition at KNUST whilst teams from the Southern zone will be participating at University of Ghana’s pitch.
