Students won’t be forced to pay fees after parliamentary approval-KNUST’s URO

The university relations Officer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Mr. Kwame Yeboah Junior has admonished students to stay calm about the 2017/2018 academic year fees, as the university still awaits parliament’s approval.

According to him, students will not be forced to add up to the 2016/2017 fees paid earlier immediately parliament approves the final fees.

Speaking in an interview with focus news, Mr. K. Yeboah emphasized that students will be asked to pay the fees over a period or the fees paid now will be made to stay.

He also addressed on the number of first years admitted into the university, saying their accommodation is not a headache to the university.

‘’Even though the halls are full, the university has arranged hostels for them and their security is fully assured’’.
