Music In Ghana and voodoo seem to have some compatibility as it has been publicly perceived for some time now. A recent example is Guru (Hiplife mogul) whose close friend used juju on him. Castro’s departure from the music scene is also perceived to have a connection with marine spirits even though his absence still remains a mystery.
Dancehall artiste Xhila Roy, who appears with the Monicker Gorilla has in recent times enjoyed a sudden buzz with his music on social media. For the past weeks one will wake up to a million tags with Xhila Roy on social media especially on Facebook.
A fetish (name withheld) has revealed to a reliable source that he is the cause of Roy’s sudden rise. According to him Roy approached him to help his career to shoot into mainstream and he did his best to help the young desperate gentleman. He went further to disclose that he gave the young artiste a wooden band which should be worn on his wrist and anything he wants should be whispered on the band.
According to the fetish all the recent interviews Roy had on TV was done by the powers of the wooden band but Xhila has refused to honour his part of the agreement they both had.
He went further to state that he is giving Xhila Roy an ultimatum till 31 December 2017.
“It is either he quietly honour his part of my agreement with him and continue to enjoy the hype or he refuses it and see his music end pre maturely. I have tried to reach him on his phone several times but he will not answer my call”, he said.
Looking at Xhila’s recent pictures displayed on Face Book, one could find a wooden band around his left wrist. Is there any truth surrounding this claims. Time will tell.
