Focus FM’s Manager Challenges The Youth To Be Proactive, Blasts Politicians For Dishonesty

The General Manager of Focus fm KNUST, Nana Kojo Jantuah has encouraged the youth of Ghana  to be pre-emptive and has entreated them not to bang their hopes on politicians as they are bunch of ‘liars’.

The vibrant broadcaster who is the host of Breakfast show on Kumasi FM and CEO of SOHCAHTOA media was speaking at the maiden edition of the 2017 Youth Empowerment Summit on the theme “Inspiration For Greatness and Excellence” which was held at the college of science auditorium on KNUST campus.

The special guest speaker for the program passionately told the youth who were present to identify their God-given talents and explore opportunities instead of thumping hopes on politicians who will eventually disappoint them.

He acknowledged that, the politicians have studied human behaviour and know how to lie to people, especially the youth, in the events of canvassing votes ahead of elections hence young people of this generation should have refreshed mind-set about their [politicians] diabolic deeds.

“NDC came to power and they said they were building foundation for a bright future,NPP took power in 2000 and said same, NDC came to power again and they repeated their earlier comments and now that NPP is back in power again, they are still building foundations, I ask what sort of foundation are they building”?. He fervently told the youth gathered there and they responded with cheers.

He pointed this out to help the youth conclude that, our politicians are cluster of liars that come with sweet words to win power and after that, they weaken us by milking our own money to the enrichment of theirs.

He continued to encourage the audience to identify their interests, God-given potentials and polish them up as he reckons that will help them achieve greatness and excellence.

In conclusion, he challenged the youth not to disregard the habit of reading to further enrich their knowledge.

Noteworthy, the youth after they were touched with his presentation greeted his speech with cheers and lively applauds.
