Facebook Live suicide: Father kills himself over daughter engagement.

The 54 years old father from in Central Turkey shot himself in the head on Facebook Live Broadcast after his daughter got married without his consent’.

‘’Good bye, I am leaving, take good care of you’’, these were the last words he pronounced before counting down to three and, gun pointed at his temple killing himself with a single gunshot.

Some minutes earlier, Hayan Uzu explained to viewers what motivated his decision according to Mirror Online Translation.

‘’On my daughter’s happiest day (her engagement), they called me and said to me: ‘Father come have a treat.”

“Nobody asked about me. Nobody treated me like a man. My father-in-law took my place and without having a right he approved my daughter’s wedding.

“Maybe some of you will call this a show. I do not want anybody to go through this thing that I am going through.

He also expressed his will to those responsible for “his death” not to attend his funerals, before pulling the trigger, despite advises from families and friends commenting in the video stream to put down his gun.

“(…) I do not want the ones who put me in this position to attend my funerals.”

The body of the deceased was later found by his family and brought to a morgue for an autopsy, reports Mirror Online.

The viral video has since been removed from Facebook, which also made an official announcement.
