Dean of Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, (KNUST) Dr Otchere Addai-Mensah has expressed his disappointed to the response of President Nana Addo-Dankwah Akuffo Addo’s with regards to the 2014 Commission’s report.
HE Nana Addo-Dankwah Akuffo Addo met the press yesterday to mark his first year in office, and conceded that the 2014 World Cup probe was not on his radar.
In an interview with Kumasi-based Angel FM, Dr Mensah was left disappointed by the response of the president.
“If there is any statement or any portion of the president’s delivery that made me very disappointed, it will be the portion which deals with the 2014 World Cup probe”. He said this on Angel fm
“I was very disappointed especially when that issue was one of the pivots around which the campaign for 2016 general election was run.
“Hence, if there is one area which is supposed to dominate the thinking and thought of the president, sports should be part most especially football.
“So if the president says it’s not on his radar and his minister will deal with it, I can’t agree with that.
“It is too big not to be on the radar of the president, I was disappointed.” He concluded.
