Chelsea left back Abdul Baba Rahman has appeared on the radar of Premier League bigwig Everton for a possible snap during the January transfer.
Rahman, who is close to full fitness has been training with the first team after suffering anterior cruciate ligament injury, which has kept him inactive for almost a year.
After spending last season on loan in the Bundesliga with Schalke O4, the German club are bent on negotiating a deal to resign the 23-year-old on loan in January.
However, Everton have join the race for the young promising lad to serve as a cover up for aging Leighton Baines. But they face stiff competition from Fenerbahce, Fiorentina and Monaco as these clubs have also expressed interest in signing him.
Featuring for the Blues once again is looking increasingly difficult for Rahman since manager Antonio Conte is looking to reignite the chase for Juventus defender Alex Sandro and keen to add Porto’s left-wing back Alex Telles.
