23 students of Unity Hall in KNUST suspended for alleged Misconduct

Authorities of Unity Hall at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology have suspended 23 students for alleged misconduct for a period of one week.

The students who are mostly first years were suspended for accommodating ‘perchers’ and hooting at ladies who came to the Hall.

The PRO of the Hall, Dominic Donkor was among the students who were suspended for engaging in commercial activities in the Hall. The suspension starts on 20th September  and ends on 27th September, 2017.

Speaking to Focus news, the Disciplinary Committee Chairman, Mr. Nathaniel Arthur said in as much as hooting at ladies was overlooked in the Hall, it was not appropriate for residents of the hall to engage in the act.
